EXEDY

Exedy was founded over 90 years ago in Japan, when a young visionary Kazuma Adachi, pursuing  the fast-growing potential of the Japanese auto industry, decided to dedicate his energy to the development and production of clutches in his own company.

The company was named DAIKIN and this name is well known all over the world, but in the nineties, following the current tends of the Japanese industry, it modernized its brand under the name EXEDY – a compound of two words  EXcelent and DYnamic (which were to describe the two strongest qualities of this company).

Over time EXEDY grew into the biggest Japanese clutch producer. Today EXEDY has its plants and Representative Offices all over the world on all continents.
